Group Accountant | Manchester | GBP50,000 - GBP60,000 | AIM Listed business
Search have been retained to assist an exciting AIM listed business with the appointment of a newly created position, ideal for a 1st or 2nd time mover looking to continue their development underneath strong leadership.
You will have overall responsibility for compliance & control of this reputable business, lead a large team across Transactional services (AP&AR), compliance & audit. With prior experience of IFRS you will be expected to use your expertise to identify current gaps in process, improve all reporting standards, ensure the senior leadership & board are regularly provided with timely, accurate financial information in order to help them shape of this global business.
Other key duties include;
* Ownership of UK & EU balance sheets
* Heading Audit procedures
* Address any company wide reporting issues
* Upskill and develop the financial accounts team
* Ensure total adherence in all compliance regulations
Candidate profile;
* ACA/ACCA qualified preferred
* Extensive Audit or compliance experience
* Prior IFRS experience
* Staff management in prior roles
