We here at Siamo Recruitment are working with a growing and established Electronic distribution business keen to on board a Procurement Manager to their team to ensure purchasing and management of goods and materials to facilitate a smooth and profitable production as well as supporting high productivity and quality assurance.
You will become a key decision maker within the business providing autonomy to help complete strategic business decisions.

This Procurement Manager will have the following responsibilities:
Negotiating the best value deals with suppliers along with seeking new business partnerships
Manage and be responsible for the supplier performance in meeting delivery and quality requirements
To manage the day-to-day requirements and controls of the purchasing module on the ERP system
Working in partnership with all teams within the business
Enter all new stock into the ERP system
Maintain an updated and cleansed stock database
Raising purchase orders as required
Participating in strategic decision making for the business
The ideal candidate will have the following exposure:
Previous procurement / buying experience is essential
An understanding of electronics would be advantageous however not essential
A confident communicator with the ability to negotiate, evaluate and build rapport
A strong negotiator with a business acumen to maximise profits
Previous exposure working to deadlines
