Credit Controller
Are you looking for your next opportunity?
Our client is the UK's leading weighbridge specialists, offering industrial weighing solutions to a range of industries in the UK. They are looking for a Credit Controller to join their team.
You will ensure Payments are received from Customers when fallen due and to minimize any late payments or bad debts occurring. To post cash receipts onto Sage on a daily basis and to send statement of accounts to customers at the end of each accounting month end.
Key Accountabilities:
To contact customers by telephone and email in order to obtain payment
To follow through and rectify and queries regarding invoice disputes
To update the sales ledger each day for sales invoices created
To submit statement of accounts to customers each month end
To post all cash received on a daily basis
To reconcile customer retentions and chase when due
To issue 7 day letters, stop letters and court proceedings where necessary
To carry out credit checks on new customers
To minimize bad debt provision
You will need to be IT literate with a background in an accounts based role.
