Our Client is an entrepreneurial, dynamic, agile and flexible SME looking to recruit an HR Manager to maintain and deliver the people management approach which supports the Group's overall strategic aims and objectives. You will contribute at both strategic and operational levels in order to identify and recommend appropriate people management solutions which support business aims, in addition to providing a legally and regulatory compliant HR service with responsibility for one other direct report in HR.

Key accountabilities:

* To provide support on end-to-end recruitment activity from attraction through to recruitment and onboarding

* To drive the annual performance, pay and talent management review processes

* To play a role in the learning and development activities of the Group

* To lead the agenda on employee engagement, wellbeing and diversity and inclusion

* Work closely with senior and line managers, providing them with expert guidance, coaching and support on the full range of HR activities, including policies and procedures, terms and conditions, absence management, performance management, disciplinary's and grievances and restructuring activities

* To review the competitiveness of the group's reward offering to maximise retention

* To work with the Payroll and Benefits Manager to oversee Group payroll and benefits.

Skills and experience required:

* Qualified to CIPD Level 5 Essential

* At least 5 years plus experience in HR Essential

* Solid knowledge of employment law Essential Experience of using HR systems for data analysis

* A background in financial, professional or technology services would be desirable although not essential

* Candidates must be happy working in a stand-alone capacity

* Candidates that would like a part-time opportunity could be considered

* This role is likely to be in the office at least once a week after September but a good amount of flexibility is offered
