Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be recruiting on an exclusive basis for a highly successful manufacturing business based in Rotherham as they embark on the next phase of their exciting journey.
Due a recent change in business structure, this business is at the early stages of this next exciting chapter of their journey and this role will make up a key an integral part of this.
The purpose of this role is to provide robust financial analysis and detailed reporting to the senior management to allow the business to make high quality commercial decisions as well as providing a strong understanding of the financial consequences of various options/ scenarios through financial modelling. In addition, the role will be responsible for the provision of financial planning, annual budgeting and monthly contract reporting.
The role is a high visibility one within the organisation with direct interaction with the CFO and other Executive Management Team members.
An overview of the duties includes: -
* Responsibility for preparation of the annual budget and periodic reforecasts
* Joint responsibility for preparation of monthly management accounting pack and contract reporting for EMT and Board
* Variance analysis along with full commentary
* Joint responsibility for collation, analysis and reporting
* Prepare pricing models and work with commercial management on analysis of all commercial
business cases
* Ad hoc financial analysis for any business decisions
There is lots of scope to make this role your own and there is certainly the opportunity to be more involved in business partnering across the various departments, especially marketing.
The successful Management Accountant will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
* Newly qualified Management Accountant/ 1-2 years PQE (CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA)
* Strong analytical/ financial modelling skills
* Ability to interrogate financial information
* Must be a strong user of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
* Driven to succeed and progress
* Strong attention to detail
