Management Accountant - Gainsborough - GBP35,000 - GBP40,000 & Benefit
An exciting opportunity that has arisen at the UK head office of a successful, international manufacturing business based in Gainsborough. This business continues to grow and prove its capabilities by leading in its field. They are now seeking an experienced Management Accountant on a permanent basis to be a key team player within this small finance team.
This role will see you having heavy involvement in the following areas:
Preparation for management accounts including multiple P&L's and consolidated balance sheet
Prepare forecasts and analyse trends, making recommendations for improvements
Managing working capital, depreciation, profitability and investments
Prepare long term planning, operating reviews and supporting in preparing the annual business plans
Assist with preparation of statutory accounts for year end
Investigating and resolving any issues and reconciliations
Assist with weekly and monthly cashflow forecasting
Variance analysis and commentary
Preparation of VAT returns, intrastat, EC Sales returns and assist with P11Ds
Various project work and ad-hoc reports to support the projects team
Working closely with Operational Managers to challenge the numbers and drive performanceThe ideal candidate will be:
Actively studying or qualified CIMA/ ACCA (or qualified by experience)
Experience in a similar role in industry
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Flexible with excellent communication skills and a good team player
Good IT skills including excel and ERP systemsIn return:
