Amplifi Talent are working in partnership with rapidly growing and exciting business in Edinburgh who are looking to hire a Senior Finance Analyst to their busy FP&A function. The business has been involved in a number of high profile acquisitions which has allowed it to expand further afield whilst also heavily diversifying its revenue streams to deal with customer demand. Key to this growth will be the appointment of a Senior Finance Analyst who will have significant involvement in performance reporting and analysis which will support the wider individual revenue streams but also with decision making at board level.

Reporting to the Head of FP&A you will be responsible for:

* Ownership of key daily, weekly and monthly reports for various revenue streams

* Support in the preparation of budgets and weekly rolling forecasts to manage the cost base, understand risks and monitor the impact on full year projections

* Perform detailed analysis of individual revenue stream performance

* Manage divisional payroll reporting and control.

* Assist in the production of board papers and undertake post investment reviews

* Review and provide commentary on month-end performance to support the Regional Managers and wider finance team with understanding results.

* Oversight over the supplier rebate process to ensure accurate and timely calculation and collection of rebates.

* Assist with ad hoc projects to provide financial oversight, identification and mitigation of risks and financial testing.

* Continuous review of processes and reporting to improve the efficiency of tasks, including the development of new PowerBI reports.

* Support the professional development of the Finance Analysts through mentoring.

* Assist with ad hoc analysis and management information as may be required

Candidate requirements

* Qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA)

* Strong experience of finance business partnering or working in a commercial environment

* Strong attention to detail and ability to grasp new concepts quickly.

* Strong planning, prioritisation, presentation and problem-solving skills. You'll need to be comfortable managing multiple tasks with tight deadlines.

* Strong interpersonal skills - you will be building relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the business.

* Excellent written and communication skills.

* Proactive attitude

* Experience with mentoring a team

* Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power Point essential; Experience with Power BI beneficial
