The client is a global legal firm, based in the West End (Holborn), and they are looking for a permanent Commercial Finance Analyst to join the team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate's role will mainly be focused around high-quality data and analysis for the Commercial Finance Director and alongside the Commercial team.

The client are based in the West End (Holborn) and they are an international law firm that are one of the biggest in the UK. They specialise in over 70 areas of law and they are looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join the Commercial Team.

Description

The successful Commercial Finance Analyst will:

* Accurate production of financial statements
* Maintaining data in key internal systems
* Business Partnering with various members and department heads within the business. Doing ad hoc analysis for them and presenting it to senior stakeholders within the business.
* Preparing management reports and providing commentary on the P&L
* Budgeting and Forecasting
* Provide support to the Commercial Finance Manager
* Assist with the preparation of other key reports on financial performance
* Financial Modelling
* Scenario and sensitivity analyses
* Monthly variance analysis
* Work to improve processes within the business, as well as help to implement controls to improve efficiency
* Daily reporting

Profile

The successful Commercial Finance Analyst will:

* Have strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, Formulas)
* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Previous working experience with the system Aderant
* Part qualified or studying (ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
* Good at building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
* Work well within a finance team
* Hard-working

Job Offer

GBP45,000 - GBP50,000
