Beechwood Industries Ltd is an independent thriving business based in North Cheshire. We operate throughout the North West & North of England. The Company specialises in Landscape projects, Tree Surgery, Grounds Maintenance. Our clients include schools, local authorities, domestic and a wide variety of commercial clients.
We are currently seeking to recruit a driven, passionate and committed person that can join and grow with this successful business.
As Arboriculture and Grounds Maintenance Contract Manager your responsibilities will be
• Overseeing both the Arboriculture and grounds maintenance departments
• Providing support and directing to two operations managers in each department
• Ensuring contract compliance and delivery
• Making strategic business decisions in conjunction with the company's director to allow for the companies continued growth
• Ensuring profitability of each department
• Managing and reporting of finances
• Procurement of materials and plant machinery
• Liaising with all levels of clients
• Good understanding of H&S and SHE compliance
• Management of multiple field teams and sub-contractors

Preferred Skills
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
• Proven track record in contract management for Arboriculture or Grounds Maintenance (preferably both)
• In depth-knowledge of Arboriculture and Arboricultural operations with relevant qualifications and experience
• A good level of commercial awareness with an ability to identify new business opportunities
• Current employment in a similar role and have a minimum of 5 years in contract management
• Proven track record of delivering small and large projects
• Management of budgets for departments and individual contracts
• Excellent communication skills, good organisational skills and proficiency in Microsoft office applications
Qualifications
• Level 4 or equivalent in one of or both fields
• SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH or similar
Candidates without the above will be considered dependant on relevant experience
