Structural Analyst - FEA
Permanent position
37 hrs per week

Overview
You will be liaising directly with the customers, aiding in the management of projects from start to finish. This will include boundary conditions and finalised loads, details of design, specific pass criteria, and presenting results and advised recommendations and other relevant issues.
Role Requirements
These skills would be an advantage for the position.
* 5+ years of relevant industry experience
* Degree in mechanical engineering or similar
* Solid working knowledge of FEA packages, preferably Hyper works and Abaqus
* Experience in Analysis of composite structures
* Passenger vehicle safety and crash analysis
* familiarity of CAD packages, preferably CREO
* Strong knowledge of explicit non-linear, Abaqus or LS-Dyna
Responsibilities
* Preparation of FEA models from supplied CAD
* Understand, design, and implement loads and boundary conditions
* Post-process analysis results and interpret them in relation to the needs of the project
* Conceive design improvements and presentation to customer
* Project reports
