PMP Recruitment is looking for Part Time Skilled Production Assemblers with experience within the automotive / aerospace sectors for a client based in Pontypool.
Ideally, candidates will have previous experience within a mechanical assembly and able to follow written and verbal instructions clearly. Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace is essential.
Your duties will include:
Assembling of safety-critical products ensuring 100% accuracy
Assembly of medium to heavy components candidates will need to be dexterous
Must be able to properly use and understand the required measurement equipment including tape measures, micrometres, and other tools as required by specific jobs
Experienced in the use of hand, power and air tools
Participate in the principles of teamwork
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
Must operate and perform at speeds necessary to meet production demand
Must be able to bend and reach
Hand and eye coordination
Read drawings
Must be able to work overtime when required

AM 09.45 - 13-45 (4 hrs)
PM 02.15 - 18.15 (4 hrs)
PM 18.00 - 22.00 (4 hrs)

How to get there - Public Transport is extremely limited, due to the location of the site, it's important you have your own transport or that you have arranged transport before applying for this role!
You will be working 37hrs per week. There will be a requirement to work additional hours when required.
