An Electronics Test Engineer is needed by a growing company in County Durham
Working for a successful electronics company you will be responsible for developing and performing prototype and functional test procedures on a variety of components and products. You will also analyse and improve test efficiency in addition to the design, build and maintenance of test equipment or identifying and purchasing equipment when appropriate.
You will need a solid practical background in Electronics Test and experience of developing & performing test procedures and experience of using general test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, current meters etc). An understanding of digital and analogue electronics is needed as is the ability to fault find down to component level. Experience of Altium, Matlab and Labview software is also needed as are good circuit design and schematic capture skills. Any experience with power components would be preferred.
