PCB Assembler
GBPNegotiable hourly rate
Temporary positions (possible temp to perm)
The PCB assembler position is based for a manufacturing company based in Huntingdon.
The duties for the PCB Assembler
To undertake 2nd Stage manufacture of mixed technology PCB's to high quality standards
2nd Stage manufacture of PCB's involving excellent soldering, electrical and mechanical skills.
Assembly will include component recognition, insertion and soldering along with mechanical assembly to PC based Work Instructions.
Some manual SMT soldering skills may be required for simple components.
Inspection of PCB's once 2nd Stage assembly is complete.
Person skills for the PCB Assembler
Good component recognition skills and a working knowledge of PCB assembly best working practices.
Excellent soldering skills along with the ability to Inspect complete PCB's for both component, mechanical, and soldering errors.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy along with the ability to work both within a team environment and under own initiative under pressure when required.
Monday to Friday days (short day Friday)
