New Care Service opened in April 2021, supporting three young males with learning disabilities. Great opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenging but rewarding job in care. You will be joining an exceptional staff team who are passionate and energised to make a positive difference in these young men's lives.

  • If you are interested you will have experience in care as there will be some lone working (this experience may be professional or personal).
  • You will also have an understanding of challenging behaviour and how to work through this with positive support.
  • You will thrive keeping busy and accompanying the person you support out in the community, whether this for medical appointments, day centres, a trip to the cinema, bowling, swimming, meals out to name a few.
  • Flexible to work a range of shifts, earlys, lates, wake nights and sleep-in nights (Typically this will be from Monday to Sunday) - working alternative weekends.
  • There may be personal care duties also required with this role.

Permanent contracts, part time, full time and bank (this may be perfect for students).

We pay for your training, qualifications and DBS.

As this is a new service there will also be opportunities for career progression.

"COVID19 safety is important to us all, we support our staff and the people we support to stay safe by wearing correct PPE, including Type IIR Fluid Resistant Surgical Masks (FRSM), aprons and gloves at all times. We have a in-house team that ensures that all of our services have plenty of PPE at all times. All care and support is carried out following the latest Government guidance. Our aim is to keep you and the people we support safe."

"It is an expectation that all staff are to have had or be part of the Covid- 19 vaccination process unless they can provide an exemption reason".

All of our staff receive training tailored to the needs of the people they support. You'll join the team working on a rota that includes early, late, weekend, night and Bank Holiday shifts.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a motivated and determined team. So make a great career move.
