We are at an exciting time in our development and constantly looking for great people to join us in our drive to become the College of the Future.

The Faculty of Maritime, Manufacturing, Construction & the Built Environment is seeking a qualified, motivated and professional person to lead and manage a team of staff delivering Maritime and Manufacturing related FE/HE courses, apprenticeships, higher apprenticeships and T-levels across all disciplines.

The post holder will be part of the Faculty Leadership Team and will be the key partnership link with key partners and stakeholders.

Our vision is to be the learning destination of choice and therefore, this role will play a key part in ensuring that we respond to a changing economy with an education that connects learning and our learners to the real world.

Working with students, employers and other stakeholders to shape a flexible, agile skills provision, supporting employment, innovation and productivity through our strategic actions.

You will bring with you appropriate industrial and/or professional experience; you will ensure that all programmes are delivered and managed to a high standard. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of these programmes as well as the ongoing quality assurance and faculty development.

You will work closely and in collaboration with the Faculty Director, other Academy Managers and the College’s corporate services to meet the strategic aims of the College, through the development of new programmes, apprenticeship standards and T-levels, increasing recruitment, supporting research and ensuring compliance.

Additionally, you will be required to respond to student feedback, organise bespoke CPD sessions to develop teaching through training and coaching, as well as developing personalised action plans to encourage staff to become excellent teaching practitioners and improve the student experience.

In addition to your salary, you can expect an annual leave entitlement of 35 days for this role, plus Bank Holidays and additional College closure days over the festive period. You will receive generous contributions towards your pension, CPD opportunities, and exclusive access to discounts at various UK attractions, restaurants, travel and theatre.
