The role of the Banking Administrator of this Private Bank is to join the busy Payments Team within the Operations department.
Working for this Wellingborough based Private Bank you will be required to provide exemplary standards of customer service , be friendly, professional and provide assistance to a wide range of clients of the bank when required. This will include working as part of a team dealing with clients on the telephone, processing both domestic and international payment requests, daily reports and reconciliation of accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
To complete and be flexible about all assigned operational tasks and ensure all confidential correspondence is securely filed away prior to departure at the end of the day.
To work accurately and efficiently, ensuring that attention to detail is given.
To ensure that adequate telephone cover is maintained at all times and that any queries taken are dealt with or passed on correctly and within the timescales laid down by the company policy.
To deal with any calls in a friendly, knowledgeable and professional manner.
To assist with cover during times of absence or staff shortage.
Take responsibility for contributing to the success of the team by being willing to assist with other tasks when necessary as directed by Line Manager.
To attend training sessions and take responsibility for Continuous Professional Development.
You will have
Excellent communication skills and telephone manner to deal with high profile and high net worth clients
Flexibility and initiative
Strong literacy, numeracy and PC skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Background of banking procedures advantageous
A-levels or equivalent experience
Punctuality
