Escape Recruitment are working in partnership with one of the world leaders in temporary power solutions, supplying Contract and Temporary workers on their behalf.
We are currently recruiting a Quality Inspector to work in the product release Section and would like to hear from you if you feel the role is for you.
Ideal candidates will currently be working within a Quality inspector or Electrical/Mechanical technician role and have experience in a manufacturing quality lead environment and the ability to understand and interpret schematic drawings.
Working within a self managed team and reporting to the Section manager you will be responsible for the Inspection and Product release of components in line with Quality Control.
This is a newly created role and is very much hands on. You will be based on the shop floor working in a team of 5.
Main responsibilities will be:-
Inspection of DC and 3 phase AC control panels
Inspection of high horsepower engines including Gas, Diesel, HVO and HFO fuel types
Inspection of 3 phase AC alternators - LV, HV and MV
Inspection of MV Switchboards and HV transformers containing high voltage cabling.
Inspection of MC/TC equipment including OFA compressor motors and chillers
Control and Inspection of production documentation.
Inspection of finished conditions of all manufactured equipment
Use of air tools, hand tools, torque tools, overhead cranes, lifting and slinging equipment and measuring equipment.Education/Qualifications
Mechanical or Electrical Apprenticeship SVQ Level 3 or equivalent. Other qualifications may be considered depending on experience.To apply for this role, please send your up to date CV to Charlotte Court
