New role** 1st Line/2nd Line IT Support - Wakefield, - GBP20,000 - GBP23,000

I am currently seeking a 1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineer to work in a well-established team in an exciting and technically hands on environment in Wakefield. The role will be working Monday - Friday on-site, dealing with end-users both remotely and face to face.

The successful IT Support Engineer will provide 1st/ 2nd Line Support either face-to-face, email or phone to a network of internal customers, and will ensure that all problems are either solved or escalated to the senior members of the IT team. You will be required to be aware of and stick to the Service Level Agreement, and ensure that you do all in your power to meet these service levels.

Knowledge of some or all of the following technologies would be advantageous:

- Helpdesk or Service Desk experience
- Experience in supporting G-Suite applications
- Experience in supporting Chromebooks
- Printer and scanner fixes
- Windows Operating Systems
- Application support
- Windows Server
- Active Directory
- Basic Exchange queries
- LAN/WAN, TCP/IP
- 1st and 2nd Line IT Support
- 1st/2nd line support

This position will suit an experienced first line engineer who is looking to make a move into a new and exciting environment and have potentially just completed an apprenticeship in IT. You will ideally have a qualification in IT such as a BTEC Level 3, Comptia A+, or a Microsoft certification, and excellent communication and organisational skills are essential prerequisites of this role.
