Monday - Friday 7am-5pm
Winner Recruitment has the pleasure of working with a new client based in the West Bromwich area who is looking to grow their production team. This opportunity is with a forward-thinking company, who manufacture and distribute their products. We are currently recruiting experienced Slitter Operatives to join the team on an immediate basis, on a Temp to Permanent basis.
The Person
* Someone with experience working in Slitter Operative Role
* A candidate with an incredible eye for detail.
* Experienced Slit to Register required.
* looking for a long-term opportunity.
The Role
* Setting up and running Slitting Machines to exact time and speed settings
* The day to day running on the Slitting Machines including continuous inspection of product to ensure conformance
* Continually monitoring the machine, supplies and materials to improve production efficiency
* Identifying and reporting issues in a timely manner, particularly for maintenance and machine issues or problems
* Problem solving
* Regularly reporting machine performance and suggest methods of improvement
We supply temporary, contract and permanent staff to various companies throughout the UK to various sectors.
