Defour Partnership on behalf of their client are recruiting for a Technical Administrator based in Cambuslang.

This is an exciting new post and opportunity to join a rapidly growing organisation within the Utilities/Electrical Engineering (new connections) field. The company are offering a competitive salary with great benefits.

This is a full time role with hours Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, 1 hour lunch break.

The role will be supporting the daily operations and commercial activity of the company and the responsibilities will include providing technical administrative and project support as required:

Responsibilities:

General daily administrative duties including:

* Obtaining points of connection from UK DNO Networks.

* Administration of Asset values

* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of projects

* Obtaining Public Utility drawings

* Record management including updating cost sheets

* Update drawing register, print and issue drawings to site and subcontractors

* Start up new job folders for upcoming contracts

* Assisting Quantity Surveyors with collating info for CVR's

* Assisting estimators with subcontractor enquiries

* Keeping track of monthly purchases for the division - highlighting any unmatched

Other ad hoc duties that may be required:

* Administration of notices and permits

* Traffic Management administration

* Issuing of work packs

* Inputting weekly timesheets for all trade workers

* Compile and issue operations & maintenance manuals for clients

* Book accommodation and travel for Managers

* Updating van tracker weekly and ensuring weekly vehicle checks are carried out

* Calibration bookings for test kit/plant

* Update and tracking of all holidays and absences

* Carrying out monthly meetings for update and status of managers deliverables and timescales

* Creating and monitoring operative reviews

Skills and Requirements:

* Previous experience within a technical administration role in the utilities/engineering industry an advantage but not essential. Full training will be given.

* Relevant Administrative Qualification or experience in a similar position

* Strong organisational and administrative skills.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management software.

* Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to multitask.
