Class 1 Driver
Simonswood, near kirkby, Merseyside
The Role:
To move trailers safely around the yard and to required destinations, including managing collection and delivery of HGV trailers to and from the ATF/Workshop for MOT.
Responsibilities:
* To move trailers safely around the yard and to required destinations including shunting and parking trailers.
* Deliver and collect trailers from other TIP locations and customer sites
* To manage collection and delivery of HGV trailers to and from the ATF/Workshop for MOT.
* To wash trailers to the highest standard.
* To brake roller test trailers (training will be provided).
* To load weights on to trailers for MOT (if you have an FLT license)
* To ensure all company vehicles are driven and operated at all times in accordance with road traffic law and company policy.
* To undertake all required training as deemed necessary by the company
* To provide a high customer service level & demonstrate company values at ALL times
* Highlight all potential business commercial opportunities to line manager
* The role will involve possible shift working, including weekends

Qualifications:
?? High level of enthusiasm & good communication skills.
?? Basic knowledge of computers and ability to complete relevant written documentation.
?? Have a customer and team centric mindset and high level of professionalism.
?? Good organisational skills and ability to be able to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
?? Initiative to work autonomously if required
?? Experience of managing driver hours and tachographs is essential
?? Class 1 HGV License is essential
?? Drivers CPC desirable
?? FLT license desirable
