EHS Site Lead
Location: Wirral

Role Summary
The EHS Site Lead is responsible for ensuring that all buildings and site exterior are maintained in a safe and environmentally responsible way, such that the workplace remains operational at all times. The role includes oversight of contractors and significant inputs to the EHS programme, supervising and in some instances, undertaking, repairs and upgrades against Op ex and Cap ex budgets.
REPONSIBILITIES
* Responsible for the entire Site ensuring safety and compliance at all times
* Managing a team of 3, plus occasional contractors on-site
* Responsible for EHS and Facilities of the site
* Working collaboratively across the business, liaising with other departments
* Managing budgets, spend and keeping projects on track
* Full JD available upon receipt of application
Requirements of Role:
* Basic degree in an engineering subject highly preferable.
* At least 5 years' experience as a site / facilities manager in an industrial environment.
* NIOSH training or equivalent would be significant advantage.
* Good communication skills that focus on simplicity and clarity of presentation, both written and oral.
* Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to work with a diverse team in terms of seniority, function and culture.
* Attention to detail and an ability to deliver within rigid timeframes.
* Good cost control and experience of working to budgets and maintaining annual expenditure to meet forecasts.
