Job Title: Quality Supervisor / Fixed Term Contract - initially 6 months
Salary: GBP25k - GBP30k
About the role:
A small UK manufacturing and distribution business which is part of a larger Global Group is recruiting for an experienced Quality Supervisor to join their team, initially on a 6-month fixed term contract. The QA Supervisor will be responsible for process quality activities, assure the quality of products to meet both the manufacturing and customer requirements and apply and execute guidelines from Group.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Strategy:
?? Ensure all products meet manufacturing specifications and customer requirements.
?? Assure the best communication with FLC corporate and customers both in emergency cases and in regular activities
Operations:
?? Manage quality activities to meet KPI's and collect quality data to develop basic reports and statistics.
?? Management of internal process audits and external audits; external consulting support will be provided if needed
?? Responsible for collecting, sorting and managing customer warranty claims
?? Supporting overall quality control aspects of raw materials (incoming inspection) through to in-process and finished products (pre-delivery inspection).
Cooperation:
?? Problem solving to Root cause and implementation of corrective actions for process related concerns.
?? Supporting continuous improvement activities to enhance competence by using suitable tools.
?? Audit internal hose assembly lines to detect issues, create robust actions and give coaching to staff
?? Interface with engineers and related functions to ensure that the new products are verified and validated in accordance with customer requirements
About the candidate:
?? 5 years minimum related to quality process control and production experience.
?? Good communication skills and customer focused.
?? Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
?? Familiarity with Quality Models and Tools.
?? Knowledge of Lean / Continuous improvement.
?? Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
