College location: East Surrey College (Redhill)

Salary: GBP24,571 - GBP34,972 (Subject to qualifications, skills and experience)

Hours: Part-Time Monday and Wednesday (14.8 hours/week)

We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Lecturer to course lead across our Business in the Creative Industries programme within our Art, Design & Media department.

In this part-time Course Lead and lecturing post you will deliver teaching and learning on the Business in the Creative Industries course to students across the Level 3 provision. You will be directly responsible for planning and preparing content to deliver to students across a two-year study programme, and will also get involved with delivery of Industry Placements, assessing students and partaking in pastoral tutorial sessions.

Whilst working effectively as part of the delivery team and the rest of your Art, Design & Media co-workers you will communicate excellently with your students in order to share your knowledge, and to help them achieve at the highest level, thus driving continuous improvement within the College.

The successful candidate must have:

* A teaching qualification at a minimum of Level 3

* A Business based qualification (at Level 4 or above)

* Teaching experience within Business (preferably within an FE environment)

* Recent, relevant experience of working in the creative industry

* An excellent standard of IT skills (including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint

Course leading experience within FE would be highly advantageous, but not essential.

Please note: Due to the current global pandemic the majority of our staff are working from home, and may need to do so in combination with working on Campus, for a number of months as per Government guidance. It is therefore highly desirable that Candidates have experience of working from home and utilising video conferencing packages (e.g. Microsoft Teams or Zoom) in order to successfully carry out their role, or it is essential that they can demonstrate the capability to adapt to this and pick up the required Technological knowledge very quickly.
