The Role:

It's an exciting time to be joining the team. In our newly created role of UK Finance Director, you will be preparing to propel us into the stratosphere working from our Farnborough office.

We're looking for personality, collaboration, and a passion for building a modern and efficient finance function to support the business as it starts to ride the wave of European expansion.

Reporting to the UK COO, this is a key role overseeing integration and European expansion where you'll be building out new structures, processes and team capability. Following $96m in investment from our series F funding, we're already integrating our first two international businesses acquisitions. This role will be working closely with our UK (Bristol & Farnborough) & USA (Denver) finance and leadership teams.

Your Day to Day in this role includes:

+ Effectively leading and developing a growing team and a scaling finance function
+ Ultimate accountability for the correct, efficient and effective performance of all accounting functions by the UK Finance team
+ Accurate and timely management reporting, BI and data-led presentation to UK Leadership team to support business strategy and rapid decision-making
+ Acting as the bridge between the US and UK finance functions providing month end reporting to support global General Ledger reporting
+ Overseeing and managing the UK financial budgeting and forecasting process and practice across the business
+ Complying with UK & US Government reporting requirements and tax filings
+ Assisting with International acquisition integrations
+ Reviewing month end General Ledger close including: account reconciliations, accrual journal entries, depreciation
+ Preparation of annual statutory accounts, overseeing revenue functions
+ Ensuring successful completion of annual external financial audits

Our finance function is carrying the hopes and dreams of all our employees and this is an important role successfully steering our financials during periods of 1000% growth.

With hybrid office/home-work flexibility you'll ideally be positioned within easy reach of our Farnborough office for a few days each week, but free to decide your own work pattern around that.

About You:

You'll be ideal for us if you are:

+ Able to adapt and thrive in a dynamically changing, fast growth environment
+ Educated to degree level – BA / BSc
+ 2+ years people management experience with a proven record of supporting your team’s personal development
+ Have experience working in a public company or supporting IPO preparation, ideally in a high growth tech company
+ Comfortable designing and implementing new financial processes and systems
+ Experienced with high volume transaction processing and multiple third-party billings
+ A whiz with advanced Excel and have strong technical accounting knowledge

You'll be advanced in our consideration if you:

+ Have 5-10 years post qualification experience
+ Are professionally certified with one or more of the following: ACCA / ACA / CIMA
+ Have experience with NetSuite or comparable accounting software
+ Can demonstrate proactive problem solving skills using critical thinking ability
