Production Supervisor
Salary - up to 28,000 P/A
Hours - 40 hour week
Permanent Position

Stafflex has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor to join an award winning UK manufacturer based in Brighouse. Main Responsibilities include:
Manage production output for the shift, ensure daily targets are achieved by the team
Manage stock levels within the department, including ordering of all components
Health & Safety Management; ensure that staff are working safely in line with the SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)
Report any accidents, incidents or near misses to your line manager immediately.
Ensure production quality is to the highest standard
Planning daily schedules.
Responsible for informing and expediting critical data.
Be able to give live reports on achievements/outputs and deviations from required goals and targets.
Carrying out performance reviews with staff and returns to works.
Attend weekly reviews with your line manager
Carry out any other reasonable management request when required.
Review systems/processes to achieve continuous improvement in your department.Necessary Skills, Qualifications and Experience include:
Ideally with industry experience (glass industry) however not essential but would have to have production manufacturing experience at Team Leader / Supervisory level.
Excellent and timely decision-making skills
Independent problem solver
Excellent communicator at all levels
Excellent product knowledge of all areas in your production area
Demonstrate good people management techniques in motivation, development and communication.
Computer literate - Microsoft Office
Good organisational skills
Strong influencing skills
Self- Motivated
Target driven
First Aid trained or willing to become a First AiderThe successful candidate may be required to work 1 of 3 shifts and may need to change shifts to cover holidays if required. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic individual who can contribute to the company vision.
