The Opportunity SBSC Bristol - Nights - 4 on 4 off
We have the opportunity for you to join our team as an Operations Shift Manager. In this role you will be:
* Managing the operations team to ensure that tasks are completed, shifts are fully staffed and holidays are managed appropriately
* Ensuring that all areas of the operation are legally compliant in line with Health and Safety and all other relevant legislation including Driver's Regulations
* Ensuring that the operation is 100% compliance regarding all matters concerning the holding and maintaining of our Operations Licence, liaising and working with fleet maintenance
* Managing all Health and Safety related matters
* Manage agreed key performance indicators and using this information to drive positive change and improvement
* Ensure that all collections/deliveries and returns are managed according to the processes agreed and within the planned window
* Work closely with the planning function to deliver an effective service
* Communicate clearly with your team, providing them with training and support and demonstrating the Samworth Brothers values.
The Right Person
We are one big team and we look for people to join our business who want to work with others but take responsibility for doing their best every day to help to make the business a success. We also need:
* Experience of managing a Team
* Health and Safety and legal compliance knowledge and demonstrable experience
* Computer literate including experience of warehouse management systems and time management systems as well as Microsoft Office
* Data analysis to drive change experience evidenced through clear examples
* Excellent interpersonal skills including relationship building, supporting and coaching others and balanced People Leadership skills
* CPC National would be desirable but is not essential as is FMCG experience within multi temperature regimes
