We are currently recruiting for a HR Assistant, to join our client busy Human Resources team, which employees circa 120 permanent colleagues. We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic, and highly motivated HR Professional to join our busy Human Resources team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and elevate their HR experience and skillset. Job Purpose; To assist the HR Manager in all aspects of ER and absence administration and providing support in implementing the site wellbeing strategy and initiatives. Key activities; • Daily administering of company sickness register • Timely monitoring & processing of return to work interviews • Timely processing of Fit notes and Self Certifications • Timely and accurate administration and coordination of absence meetings including letters to colleagues. • Assisting with meeting minutes. • Managing colleagues through the AWOL process • Managing Occupational Health appointments, invites and referrals • Complete invitation and outcome letters for Welfare, Disciplinary, Grievance and Appeal hearings • Assist in planning and coordinating staff health and wellbeing activities in line with current sickness trending and the Company's ethical framework. • Maintaining accurate and up to date employee sickness files. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of working in a fast-paced busy HR function, be able to multi-task and prioritise their workload and have excellent organisation and communication skills. Applicants must have or be working towards CIPD level 3 and knowledge of current employment law and best practice in relation to ER and Absence management. Hours of work 9.00am-17.00pm 5 days weekly however flexibility around working hours is required. Competitive salary, benefits and development opportunities.
