Service and Repair Technician
Crewe
Permanent
Circa GBP30,000
Monday to Friday - 37.5 hrs per week
We are working with a very well-established and expanding client in the Crewe area, who have a fantastic opportunity for an electrically qualified and experienced service and repair technician to join the team within a high precision manufacturing business. This role is a site-based role.
The Service and Repair Technician will be responsible for:
* Servicing and repairing the company's products
* Working on hardware and software
* Providing technical support to customers on the operation and maintenance of equipment
* Diagnosing electrical and mechanical hardware faults
* Diagnosing software and system failures
* Providing solutions to customers in order to repair or resolve issues to minimise customer downtime
* Analyse and prepare report for products failure trends
Skills and Experience
* Must hold an electrical qualification
* Competent at servicing and repairing electrical equipment
* Excellent written and communication skills
* Previous experience working with scientific instruments or vacuum manufacturing industry would be beneficial
