Here at South Thames College, we’re now looking for a Team Leader to support and coordinate the delivery and success of the Level 2 Telecoms Field Operative Apprentices and successful partnerships with employers and delivery partners. You will visit learners at the Apprentices’ places of work (mainly across London) and train, coach, mentor and assess learners towards the achievement of their Apprenticeship Standard.
We’re looking for an individual who is educated to Level 4 (or above) in a related industry/subject area and who has relevant industry experience and is an expert in the subject area. We’d like you to have teaching or training experience, to include evidence of well planned and effective delivery of learning and planning and delivery of apprenticeships, workplace assessments and End-Point Assessments, and be able to successfully monitor student achievement and attendance via tutorials, pastoral care and using online College systems.
A teaching qualification is not essential, all that we ask is that you are willing to achieve this in line with current regulations. We do however ask that you hold an Assessor/Verifier qualification.
Closing date for the return of a complete online application is 19th August 2021
The benefits package includes generous annual leave of 37 days plus up to 7 additional days over Christmas/New Year as well as an additional 5 days Wellbeing leave to enhance employees’ physical and mental health.
