Project Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a well run and busy contractor whom are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing construction team. This role would suit some body looking for a long term career opportunity and looking to make a day to day impact on the business from day one.

You will ideally have 4 years plus experience of surveying and costing on a range of projects including commercial and new build. Our client have 5 years worth of work already secured in these sectors. Typical project value GBP500k-GBP15million.

Key responsibilities:-

Produce valuations and payment applications
It is essential to have the knowledge and confidence to be able to take site measurements unsupervised.

Surveying of properties and pricing. Estimates
Identify changes to works information
Costing variations
Understanding of quality control, material scheduling etc
Subcontract account management
Cost reporting
