Job Title: Mechanical Assembly
Hours: 37.5 hours on a rotating shift pattern
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Department: Production (factory based)
Salary: GBP25,000 to GBP31,000 per annum (Once fully skilled) Start rate dependent on experience

A need has arisen for a Mechanical Assembly to join the team based at our Solihull Head Office on a permanent, full-time basis.
Due to continued growth we are looking to further expand our Final Assembly department by recruiting an additional 12 technicians, we are looking for individuals from Trainee to Experienced. Training and development will be provided for the right individuals. We are also looking for experienced Technicians who earn up to 31K with regular pay reviews
Responsibilities:
The Mechanical Assembler will be Working in the Final Assembly area of our factory, building our standard line tankers after the paint process has been completed
Fitting pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to our tankers
Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area
Adhering, and working, to Health and Safety regulations
Full training will be given to the right individual
Job Requirements:
Hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge
Ability to understand drawings
Ability to use your own initiative
Team working
Attention to detail, working to high standards
Being mechanically minded
Ability to work under pressure
Desirable:
Experience in or an aptitude for vehicle electrical systems would be beneficial
Background working in a production environment particularly body building
Previous experience working as a Vehicle Fitter
