Freight Account Manager - Freight Forwarding - Manchester Airport - Up to GBP40,000.
About the Company
Our client is a multimodal freight forwarder who are looking to add a Freight Account Manager to their site based near Manchester Airport. As a Freight Account Manager you will be providing excellent services to existing accounts as well as accounts passed over from Business Development Managers.
Freight Account Manager - The Rewards
Salary up to GBP40,000 depending on experience

Working for a Global Freight Forwarder Freight Account Manager - Requirements
At least 2 years experience in a Freight Forwarding function
Previous account management experience
Commercially Astute
Experience of Ocean Freight and Air Freight
Experience of handling complex multi-product tender/project responses
Experience of development Accounts Freight Account Manager - Responsibilities
Develop and implement a robust supply chain
Ensure all aspects of budget, credit control, invoicing, P&L, Tariffs etc are completed correctly Provide quotation and landed cost models for shipments
Provide monthly management reports internally and externally
Account Management: effectively manage the account to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery of agreed service levels
Identify and implement new business streams within the account profitably
Account growth & development of relationship to rationalise service options
Maintain and develop the SOP and Processes to improve account efficiencies
Look for opportunities for organic growth Retain accounts through the development of strong relationships with key decision makers and users within an organisation
