Joining a robust quality department, you will join a dynamic line-up where everyone works together as a team to meet set objectives. You will be working in a manufacturing environment, ensuring the product quality standards are achieved and ensure compliance with BSI accreditation and product testing requirements to support manufacturing teams to achieve right first time every time.
SHIFTS:
4 on / 4 off Continental Shifts
Day Shift (Apply online only)
DUTIES:
Perform and report on daily manufacturing quality process compliance audits
Work with operational teams to continually improve compliance and performance
Work with operational teams to continually improve product standard, compliance, performance and reduce scrap
Assess quarantined product as required and action appropriately with updates
Investigate customer complaints, working collaboratively with relevant personnel
Assess, investigate and report extrusion non-conformance issues
Ensure all vernier calipers and tape measures calibrated
Ensure that BSI product testing is carried out at the start of every production run and trial test new and modified materials and tools
Prepare and submit samples for external BSI testing
Audit performance scores continually improve
KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of product specifications and quality requirements
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Thoroughness and attention to detail when conducting checks and inspections
Ability to make sound, logical, objective decisions, within the sphere of given responsibility, regarding the actions to take in response to identified quality problems
Ability to communicate effectively with team colleagues and operational teams, to explain identified quality issues and convince others to act in response
Good literacy and numeracy skills, allowing effective written communication of important information
Sound computer skills, allowing accurate recording of product quality information
