Our FMCG client based in Spalding are looking for an Inventory Controller on an 18 month contract until December 2022. However the role may become permanent in the future. This role is working Tuesday to Saturday shift 1400 to 2230. Working as part of a team you will be an integral part of the business and a link between our client and the onsite customer. The role will be to assist in all aspects of the daily Inventory Control operation.
Job Role:-
* Conduct regular, rigorous stock counts as required and record all findings.
* Investigate and analyse root cause of stock related problems.
Complete stock adjustments via request sheets.
* Support area owners with investigations and root cause analysis of stock related problems.
* Maintaining the WMS to achieve high service levels
* Working with other stakeholders to ensure an efficient internal movement of stock and high stock accuracy.
* Actively seek ways to improve inventory processes to improve efficiency, remove waste and deliver cost improvements.
* Maintain an efficient stock rotation of all goods.
* Raise any slow moving or short life stock items.
* Be the JDA super user within the area.
* To ensure personnel procedures are followed within strict timescales (e.g., reporting absences, completing holiday/sickness/absence forms, etc).
