Senior Mechanical Engineer required for a global business who manufacturer precision measuring equipment. The company are forward thinking and offer great career progression opportunities.
The Senior Mechanical Engineer role would be suited to a candidate with a strong mechanical background with some basic electrical skills. The role requires a candidate with experience in build and assembly of small scale electromechanical systems / instruments. Candidates will also need to show some fault finding, repair and service of small scale products. Those with wiring and soldering skills would be a bonus but this is not an essential requirement. This role will be supervising a small team of 5 so previous supervisory/management experience is required.
The Senior Mechanical Engineer role will involve working on the companies high quality instruments. This position will play a key role in the building and assembly of this equipment and will work closely with the mechanical engineering team to develop solutions for their clients. This position will involve fault finding, repair and servicing of these electromechanical instruments whilst ensuring quality is a focus at all times to maximise customer satisfaction. This position will involve working closely with suppliers and clients. This role will also be supervising a small team of engineers so tasks related to that will be a part of this role.
