Fawkes and Reece are currently assisting in the search for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a family owned developer based in Northampton.
The national developers have been running for over 50 years, our customer focused and provide high quality housing with the options to choose your own fixtures and fittings.
The busy team have 12 live sites with 2 new projects starting at the end of the year. You will be working with a more senior member of the team on 2 developments generally up to 150units both Traditional and new build housing, with opportunity to work on bespoke housing.
They are ideally looking for someone who lives within an hours drive of Northampton. You will attend site visits weekly - which are normally within an hour of the office. You will be responsible from buying through to final accounts so the role comes with variety and responsibility including producing take offs, liaising with housing associations, variations and payments and liaising with subcontractors and internal teams.
The company provide ongoing support and training, with an established and experienced team and friendly culture. In return you will be offered a salary of up to GBP35,000 + package including car/car allowance, health and other benefits.
The ideal candidates will ideally be degree educated in Quantity Surveying or Construction and at least 2 years experience with a developer or Main contractor.
