Facilities Management Assistant
Location: Westlakes Science and Technology Park
Duration: 2 Year Contract
Rate: GBP16 Per Hour Umbrella/ GBP12.41 Per hour PAYE
INSIDE IR35
Must Haves:
- Knowledge and experience relevant to facility and estate management
- Specific Training, Qualifications and Experience needed to be able to evidence the Competences listed above.
- Nuclear Industry Experience
- ONC in Engineering/Science subject or relevant experience.
- IOSH Working Safely (or willing to be gained within 3 months of employment)
- Current Security Clearance
- Computer Literate and by fully conversant with Microsoft Office Suite Packages
- The ability to work as part of a team with flexibility
Job Purpose
The Successful applicant will report to the Facilities Manager and provide support the nuclear and environmental sectors of the business.
You will be responsible for but not limited to the following day to day responsibilities:
- Contribute to the safe day-to-day operations of both a radiometric and environmental facility.
- Ensure that all activities are carried out with full regard to, statutory regulations, , site licence requirements and local directives, procedures and safety rules.
- Undertake Portable Appliance Testing, Fire Alarm and Emergency Light Testing Duties if/when suitably qualified and experienced.
- Undertake (relevant to competency and internal training) - , low risk / low level minor Mechanical/Electrical maintenance and minor building infrastructure and fabric maintenance/repair tasks.
- Monitor and respond to Health & Safety matters that may emerge within the facilities as required by task scope and current legislation.
- Be responsible for timely inspections, servicing and calibration of appropriate tools and plant service equipment under the direction of the facilities manager.
Assist in the collation and storage of on plant data
