Street lighting Operative with Digs
Our client has recently been awarded the LED head change contract for the county of Suffolk.
The depot will be based around Bury St Edmunds.
The client is a well respected major contractor, with a great peputation of staff development and welfare, and represents a great opportunity to generate good earnings
Role:
Ability to work safely as part of a team. This is a key attribute and is essential to making a success of the position
Ability to take both written and verbal instruction and carry out works confidently within boundaries of given instruction and to a very high standard.
Experienced working at height in IPAF/ MEWPS
Experienced with setting out traffic management on roads upto 40mph
UK driving license.
HERS registered
ECS card
Comfortable working with electronic devices to log works completed and complete electronic electrical test certs and visual survey forms
Desirable
Previous experience of fast paced LED conversion schemes
5.2ton driving license
Electrical installation and testing experience.
NRSWA Streetworks
G39/1 certificate
Assistance with gaining G39, and Hers registration can be provided if required.
The company has a strict drugs and alcohol policy and you will be tested at induction. If you feel you cannot pass this, please do not apply.
Lodge allowance can be provided at GBP40/ day in certain circumstances.
We pay PAYE and CIS/ UTR, weekly
