Forklift Driver - Double Day Shift

We are seeking a Forklift Driver to join a busy manufacturing company based in Sutton, Cambridgeshire. You will be responsible for operating a Forklift and mainly assisting in the dispatch department. Previous experience working in a warehouse or factory setting would be desirable for this position. You will also need to have at least 1 years' experience driving a Counterbalance Forklift and a valid Forklift Licence.

Location: Sutton, Cambridgeshire
Hours:

Shift A: Monday - Thursday 6am - 2pm and Friday 5am - 12noon (alternating with Shift B) Shift B: Monday - Thursday 2pm - 10pm and Friday 12noon - 7pm

Hourly Rate: GBP9.50 per hour
Duration: Temporary - Permanent

Duties will include:

• Operating a Forklift and loading and unloading goods
• Loading and unloading lorries
• Recording deliveries on the dispatch system
• Completing dispatch paperwork accurately
• Correctly Storing goods in the warehouse
• Getting orders ready for dispatch
• Any other general warehouse duties
• Keeping the factory and warehouse clean and tidy

Key skills and attributes required:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• At least 1 years' experience in driving a Counterbalance Forklift
• Strong work ethic with willingness to learn
• Ability to work quickly and methodically
• Ability to concentrate while carrying out repetitive tasks
