HR Assistant
GBP12-14ph
Orpington, Kent
Monday - Friday, 9am-5.30pm
Office Angels are very proud to be working with a well-established business based in Orpington. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment working within the HR department.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the Head of HR and HRBP
Assist with the filing employee related documentation
Updating and maintaining timely databases and trackers at least weekly
Responsible for answering administrative enquiries and distributing any other enquiries to the HR members
Assist with recruitment and selection by organising and booking interviews
Pre-employment vetting cheques, references, DBS and DVLA checks
Contractual documentation, preparation from templates and drafts as approved by Head of HR and Director
Preparing documents and ensure they are signed by the relevant signatory, processing applications for benefits and general payroll and pension administration
Create and maintain records of personnel related data (payroll, personal information, new starters, leavers, turnover rates, etc.) including manual and electronic filing systems and ensure all employment requirements are met
Update Time and Attendance records (sick leave, personal time off, etc)
Payroll administration, including entering timely and accurate information into relevant spreadsheets, files, and systems
Person specification:
Self-starter with excellent communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure with a positive can-do attitude
