Job Title: AR & AP Interim Specialist
Salary: GBP27- GBP30k
Location: Bradford(Remote working)
Contract: 12 months minimum
An exciting interim opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Specialist to join this business and provide crucial interim support across the Transactional finance divisions. Starting immediately you will be reporting into the Financial Controller assisting in streamlining the processes internally and externally for the purchase ledger.
* Liaising with 3rd party to ensure payment proposals are accurate, verifying, balancing, and promoting reconciliations to ensure key accounts are kept up to date
* Tracking internal escalations of queries with 3rd party provider in a timely manner to ensure key suppliers do not go on stop. Working with internal parties to push asset queries through to payment.
* Routinely communicates with suppliers, and internal/external customers, both orally and in writing, to resolve issues and provide accurate and timely customer service.
* Ensures adherence to external and internal controls, accounting/accounts payable/receivable policies and procedures, contractual compliance, approval levels, accuracy and compliance.
* Responsible for supporting businesses on timely and accurate order adjustments.
* Performs analyses of accounts receivable and accounts payable to monitor the integrity of accounts and identify risks.
* May participate in special projects such as compiling, preparing and distributing financial reports, assisting with data analysis and problem resolution, and providing audit assistance.

* Highly organized and an ability to manage time to deliver to deadlines
* Strong purchase ledger experience working to a senior/ managerial level
* Good communication skills & the ability to build relationships
