HR Assistant

Turn IT on have an exciting opportunity for a part-time HR Assistant with experience of working within a face paced HR environment ideally in a service industry to support the HR team with generalist advice and administration, health & safety, and ongoing HR projects.

As HR Assistant you will be responsible for key HR and administration processes and have the opportunity to develop your HR knowledge within an experienced highly effective HR team where you will be expected to be an effective team member but also able to work independently. You will report into the Head of HR & Finance and will interact with Payroll, Finance and Operations on a regular basis.

HR Assistant Responsibilities:

General day to day HR administrative support to the HR team.
Assisting with the recruitment lifecycle.
Dealing with internal and external HR queries.
Co-ordinate the Health & Safety requirements, handling paperwork, and arranging training.
Handling the mobile phone contract, handsets, SIMS and helping staff when phones need replacing.
Quality management.

HR Assistant Requirements:

Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
Used to working in a high paced/high volume environment.
Great attention to detail.
Highly proficient in using MS Word and Office 365 is essential.
Awareness of the need for sensitivity and confidentiality.
Strong written and verbal communication skills..
Educated to A level standard or above in an HR related discipline or equivalent; or have relevant level of work experience that will help you to quickly integrate into an extremely busy HR team.
Be hard working, resourceful and resilient.
Have a customer focused, positive, and collaborative approach.
An enthusiastic individual who is keen to learn and flexible in approach.
Knowledge of basic employment law and HR/Payroll practices would be advantageous.

The role is offered on a part-time basis and the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS and safeguarding checks.
