Our client based in EDINBURGH is searching for a CNC MACHINE OPERATOR to join their team on a PERMANENT basis!
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Carry out CNC Operations in accordance with instructions and documentation provided.
* Ensure compliance with all policies, specifications, regulations, procedures and work instructions.
* Check that equipment used is working correctly and fit for purpose, record defects and notify supervisor.
* Report any defects to the Manufacturing Manager/Maintenance Engineer.
* Carry out necessary program, tooling dimensional checks and inspections, as necessary.
* Maintain traceability through machining process.
* Complete production records as work progresses.
* Checking and maintaining quality throughout.
* Inspecting parts to drawings and making adjustments, or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications.
* Maintain high levels of housekeeping.
* Inspection of own work to ensure it meets the company's high quality standards.
We are looking for a motivated individual whose skills include:
* Flexibility to work overtime when required.
* Structural steelwork experience.
* Work with minimal supervision.
* Work to tight deadlines.
* Knowledge of booking on/off jobs using MRP system.
This is a permanent position for the right candidate:
* Excellent rates, negotiable depending on experience with significant overtime opportunity.
