The Site Facilities Lead will provide engineering support to the business to help deliver solutions / projects at our Manufacturing facility in Stourport. The projects delivered will add benefit to the overall operational site performance. The role will be varied and challenging.

The Seals and Bearings business of Morgan Advanced Materials makes high-performance self-lubricating bearing and seal components, predominantly used in pumps, industrial and domestic, or other sealing applications.
We use advanced carbon/graphite, silicon carbide, alumina and zirconia materials to engineer lightweight, low-friction bearings and seals. These materials help solve the problems associated with the use of lubricants in extreme temperatures, corrosive or hygienic environments where access is restricted, and are engineered into products which provide customer-specific solutions.

Responsibilities:
* Build a culture of continuous improvement in the facility
* Facilities management
* Annual service contracts
* Assist with CMMS
* Process mapping
* Process planning - to define which processes need improving
* Capital expenditure justification
* Review of tooling materials and recommendations for new ones
* Organising, performing and documenting trials for new machines and materials
* Migration of tooling and work databases to the ERP system
* Generating and updating of KPIs and reports
Essential Experience:
* Conversant with H&S rules, regulations and best practices
* Knowledge of electrical installations
* Knowledge of engineering drawings
Desirable Experience:
* Knowledge of ceramic powder compaction tooling
* Experience in lean manufacturing
