The University of Nottingham Students' Union are currently recruiting for three Student Voice Coordinators to join our team based in Nottingham. You will work on a full time, permanent basis (35 hours per week) and in return you will receive a competitive salary of GBP19,500 per annum.

We're a diverse community from first-year undergraduates to research students, elected student Officers and staff, to volunteers, pioneers, and so much more. Together, we are getting involved, making change and supporting each other, making student life at the University of Nottingham the very best it can be.
We are one of the largest Students' Union in the country, connecting 34,000 student members to share, support and inspire each other while at University. As a registered charity we act as the recognised representative body of all students at the University, and every student is automatically a member free of charge. We provide a range of activities, events, campaigning, commercial and professional services that benefit and support students to get involved, find support and make change.
About our Student Voice Coordinator role:
The Student Voice team is a multi-disciplinary team striving to positively influence key stakeholders (such as the University) to enhance all areas of the student experience. Our Student Voice Coordinators are the first line of support for our students creating positive change. They work collaboratively to enable our student voice frameworks to support students to remain at the heart of the learning experience, to lead their student communities, and to empower students through democratic input to make their voices heard.
We are looking for people with enthusiasm and passion in the following areas of expertise:
- Wellbeing and Living
- Academic Representation
- Campaigns and Liberation
What are we looking for in our Student Voice Coordinator?
- Experience of coaching or supporting others
- Demonstrable experience of working with and supporting volunteers
- Experience of liaising with staff at all levels
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to build strong working relationships
- Ability to work as an effective team member
