Global manufacturing company situated in Beccles is looking to recruit a management accountant on a 3-6 month contract. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will support the Finance team with monthly reconciliation tasks and contributing to the preparation of accurate Monthly Management Accounts.
Your key duties will include the following:
* Completing the monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations.
* Preparation of supplier statement reconciliations & investigation of reconciling items.
* Reconciliation of proforma customer accounts.
* Supporting the Finance team with the preparation of monthly Management Accounts.
* Preparation and submission of various KPI's.
* Supporting the Finance team with the completion of the month end stock valuation process (raw materials, finished goods & WIP).
You will preferably be a part-qualified accountant or have the necessary experience, strong Excel skills and excellent communication skills. Some exposure to a manufacturing environment would be beneficial but not essential.
