We have an exciting opportunity available for a leading food manufacturer. Here at Futures, we are looking for a National Account Manager due to continued growth and expansion of the company.
Reporting into the Sales Director you will focusing on both existing and new business development. You will manage sales and relationships within food manufactures and to deliver profitable growth year on year & contribute toward the success of the divisional sales team.
Key responsibilities;
To identify and cultivate new business opportunities that will satisfy customer needs
Develop strategies and sales plans, taking responsibility for all new business and providing the highest level of customer service.
Maintain and develop existing and new customers through relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information
To achieve KPIs, including sales targets
To identify and cultivate new business opportunities that will satisfy customer needs
Successful Account Managers will be;
You will have a strong sales background in a customer facing role together with exposure to the Top 4 retailers in the UK.
Will thrive on working under pressure and excel in achieving sales targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth
You will be adept at lead generation, booking in appointments, presenting face to face with chefs and owners, and closing business
You will have a can-do attitude, the ability to work to tight deadlines and to form strong relationships plus show an undeniable passion for food and the industry.
Excellent communication skills
Working well under pressure
