Customs Compliance Specialist cGBP55,000 Home Based
We are currently recruiting for a Customs Compliance specialist to join our client with a Head Office based in Dudley. This is a full time, permanent role offering a competitive salary and fantastic benefits.
This is an incredibly important role to the company moving forwards and the ability to work at a fast and changing pace is Key. Knowledge of the NI Protocol is key.
Main Duties of the Customs Compliance Specialist role include:
Provide import and export advice to a distribution and processing business operating in Great Britain AND Northern Ireland
Support mapping of customs compliant, and efficient, materials movement process
Identify steps to ensure compliance with Northern Ireland Protocol
Significant experience of import and export of goods within UK and European Union
Knowledge of special customs procedures: Inward Processing Relief, Outward Processing Relief, Customs Warehouse
Support development of standardised and systemised procedures and reporting
To be considered for the role of Customs Compliance Specialist you will have:
Excellent academics and proof of ongoing professional training.
Experience of working in a similar role with knowledge of the NI Protocol.
Software packages - Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a multitude of different personalities.
