Software QA Tester
We are seeking a Software QA Tester who will be responsible for planning, developing and executing software test scripts and scenario's in order to ensure developed software meets user requirements. Also developing testing programs to address areas such as regression and negative testing and documentation of software defects and reporting these back to the Development Team. The Software QA Tester will also have responsibility for composing release communications on new or improved features of an application.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will be a Practitioner in Agile Quality Certification (including ISTQB certifications in Tester Foundation Level and Agile Foundation level with a technical competence with Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent). You will need experience of working and communicating with users of varying technical levels and a good understanding of software and how it can be used to improve the efficiency of business processes. You will also need to be a self-starter with proven organisational skills. Experience working within a financial services environment is desirable.
There is the option to work flexibly and in the majority from home - however, you will sometimes need to attend the Bristol office to support your personal and team development and to meet the needs of the stakeholders.
